For over 30 years now, Pierre has been welcoming you to discover his workshop and his craft.
The guided tour lasts around 45 minutes, including a tasting. You’ll learn all about the secrets of ham-making, from rearing the pigs to maturing the pieces for months on end. You’ll pass through the maturing room with its 800 hanging hams, the salting room and the drying room, where you’ll be shown in detail. You’ll end with a tasting of the company’s flagship products. Products can be purchased directly from the workshop store. All visit times, reservations and online sales can be found at: www.pierre-ibaialde.com.
